We're seeking a creative and strategic Content & Product Marketing Manager to lead the development of high-impact content supporting new product launches, boosting digital performance, and helping customers make confident energy decisions. Responsible for shaping and executing content strategies that span SEO/GEO, product marketing, digital platforms, and brand storytelling, this role is ideal for a content-first marketer with deep industry knowledge and a passion for measurable, future-focused search marketing. You'll be at the forefront of shaping how our brand connects with customers, partners, and communities—leveraging video, interactive content, and digital platforms to drive engagement and growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, brings an agile mindset to content creation, and is eager to adapt to market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer expectations. You'll collaborate across teams as a strategic partner bringing innovative campaigns to life, while maintaining a strong pulse on Alberta's energy landscape and customer needs.

Key Skillset And Required Experience

  • Content Marketing: Strong writing skills for web, app, email, blog, and social media crafting content that engages our community, resonates with customers, and differentiates our brand.
  • Product Content Marketing: Driving the product marketing lifecycle along with our digital product team. Creating content and campaigns to strategically bring new products to market
  • SEO and Analytics: Data-driven approach to content optimization and performance tracking. Conduct keyword and topical research and implement optimization tactics. Own supplier relationships ensuring strategic growth with consistent digital performance improvement.
  • AIO and GEO: Passion to become an expert in this emerging space backed by foundational knowledge and real-world experience
  • Digital platform authorship and website management: Web, app, and social media content strategy and execution with current Marketing Technology stack (Adobe). Maintain and update web content with a focus on UX and searchability. Provide backup support for website operations and graphic design
  • Social media marketing: Experience creating content and publishing with Meta, Reddit, and other non-owned VoC platforms
  • Influencer/partnership marketing: Brand collaborations and compelling storytelling to build and manage influencer relationships amplifying brand campaigns
  • Interactive content development: Quizzes, lead generation, and customer education to inform and engage Albertans on relevant energy topics to collect customer insights and drive conversions
  • Design experience: Photoshop, Canva proficiency for backup graphic design support
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Video production and strategy: Conceive video content based on best practices and ensure output meets strategic brief
  • Company driven award and brand-recognition programs lead: Driving strategy and executing roll-out plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media and Journalism, or a related field
  • A diploma or certificate in Digital Marketing, SEO, or UX/UI is considered an asset
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, content strategy, social media management, ideally within the energy, technology, or consumer services sectors
  • 5-10 years of proven experience leading digital content development and partnership marketing with emphasis on digital content that engages and converts
  • 5-10 years of proven product marketing experience with emphasis on new product launches
  • Expert-level knowledge of SEO with foundational AIO/GEO experience
  • Intermediate level hands-on CMS experience
  • Strong background in performance-based analytics and data-driven storytelling that leverages insights to create tactical recommendations
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing external creative agencies.
