Role Summary

Weed Me is looking for a meticulous and results-oriented inventory Accounting Clerk to perform costing for inventory assemblies and finished goods. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role ensures accurate cost tracking across cannabis raw materials, packaging materials, assemblies, and finished goods, supporting costing accounting function.

Duties

  • Perform detailed costing for inventory assemblies and finished goods.
  • Create and manage new SKUs, WIP, and inventory assemblies in the QBE system.
  • Track the cost of materials and create mixed input lot and calculate the average weight cost.
  • Analyze BOM profitability and perform item profitability adjustments as needed.
  • Review and validate profitability percentages for BOM and finished goods.
  • Identify and resolve cost discrepancies across QBE and other systems.
  • Perform necessary inventory adjustments for assemblies and month-end reconciliation.
  • Update and maintain input lot, WIP, and finished product SKU lists and related reports.
  • Monitor inventory valuation summary and reconcile the cost report to the Balance Sheet.
  • Work closely with inventory and procurement teams to maintain accurate costing data.
  • Reconcile QBE build assemblies and GL reports from ES for accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze sales-by-item summaries for cost and profitability insights.
  • Perform monthly adjustments and ensure proper documentation.
  • Ensure costing aligns with financial reporting and inventory records for compliance.
  • Generate clean and reliable monthly cost-related report packages to support operations.
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks assigned by the team leader.
