Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Gabby's Bar & Grill, 980 Kingston Rd Toronto. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our guests' experience by providing outstanding service and ensuring their needs are met. Your contributions will be vital in upholding our commitment to hospitality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve guests with a friendly demeanor
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently using Volante POS systems
  • Provide menu recommendations and upsell food and beverage items
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Server or in a similar role in the food service industry
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests
  • Familiarity with Volante POS, or similar systems is preferred
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
  • A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
