Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, taking orders, and providing menu recommendations. Your ability to manage time effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximize sales.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food handling guidelines.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
  • Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 9 per week
