This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic located in Edmonton, AB. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various types of heavy equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting regular inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment is in optimal working condition. The mechanic will work closely with other team members to ensure the efficient operation of machinery.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Journeyman or Red Seal
  • An asset would be someone with body work experience
  • Valid drivers license
  • Experience in Heavy Truck, Equipment Maintenance and Equipment Repair
  • Knowledge of Heavy Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills
  • Relevant certifications or training in heavy equipment maintenance or repair
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols

Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing are required.
