Heavy Equipment / Grader Operator

Edmonton, AB

Overview:

Lakha Brar Trucking Ltd is looking for reliable and experienced equipment operators to join our team. We run trucks and graders year-round, with occasional work using skid steers, compactors, and other heavy equipment depending on the job. Work is mainly in and around Edmonton, with some travel possible depending on project locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate graders and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform basic maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
  • Assist with grading, road work, and site prep as needed
  • Follow company and site safety procedures at all times
  • Work with the crew to complete projects on schedule
  • Occasionally help transport equipment or materials to and from sites

Requirements:

  • Experience operating a grader or other heavy machinery (more experience is always an asset)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small crew
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
  • Must be reliable and safety-focused
  • Class 5 driver's license required (Class 1 or 3 an asset)
  • Able to work in varying weather and site conditions

Job Type: Full-time (hours may vary depending on workload and weather)

Location: Edmonton, AB and surrounding areas
