Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food industry standards, food safety protocols, and team supervision to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests.

Duties

  • Manage overall restaurant operation
  • Supervise and train Front of House staff members in food service, hospitality, and customer service best practices.
  • Oversee POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead hiring processes by interviewing candidates and selecting qualified team members for Front of House
  • Monitor food safety compliance and ensure adherence to health regulations.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage inventory levels and controlling costs effectively.
  • Lead team management efforts by motivating staff, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee restaurant cleanliness, safety protocols, and overall facility maintenance in line with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles.
  • Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in team management.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of food handling regulations and health standards.
  • Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to interview candidates effectively and build strong teams.

Pay: $48,487.77-$60,000.00 per year
