**Position Description: Restaurant Manager**

The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of Cheezed in store operations, acting as the main point of contact for the owners, staff and the General Manager.

Office work 10%

Onsite work 90%

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with the General Manager on the sourcing, hiring, training, scheduling, payroll and tip outs for staff and management team
- Act as a leader and motivator for all staff - share your passion
- Work with the General Manager on collaborating with other Georgian Mall tenants and the RioCan Marketing Team on upcoming events and dining experiences to help maximize ROI for restaurant
- Be creative in the creation of new revenue streams, products or featured sandwiches
- Work with the General Manger on coordinating with third-party support for marketing and social support
- Work closely to provide support and direction to General Manager on any and all information pertaining to the operation of the store
- Provide insight when needed on store related General Accounting inquiries which includes, but not limited to, Till Discrepancies, Time Sheets/Payroll, etc.
- Oversee, manage and complete supply orders in coordination with General Manager
- Assist in completing inventory checks to ensure no loss product
- Service customer orders with the highest degree of service
- Prepare the restaurant for daily operation and closing duties, as required
- On-call and manage staff call-in’s and personal days (coordinated with General Manager)
- Act as the main point of contact for staff and owners while on duty
- Store Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of daily operations for the store and act as main point of contact for Management/Ownership team
- If applicable, work closely delegating and managing with Assistant Store Manager

**Knowledge, Skill, Ability Prerequisites**:

- Experience in a restaurant setting is required
- Ability to lead, train and manage a team effectively
- Ability to effectively time manage & schedule all staff hours
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexible & accommodating schedule to meet the demands of the village
- Professional and customer friendly attitude

**Education & Experience**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Preference given to formal restaurant training
- Food Handling Certificate
- General mathematics
- Time management
- Basic accounting and payroll
- Knowledge of Ontario Labour Laws

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
