Purpose:

Ensures the timely and accurate release of completed construction files and provides support to the Production Manager to coordinate necessary appointments and documentation to all stakeholders in the closing of a home.

Key Objectives:

  • Print and process invoices
  • Prepare and issue variance purchase orders
  • Complete purchase orders for job starts
  • Maintain awareness of building codes, municipality changes and construction techniques
  • Prepare and maintain job files for housing
  • Plan detailed material take offs and cost estimates
  • Provide sub trade pricing for plans, specifications and coordinate the tender process
  • Prepare cost to complete estimates, issue purchase orders to sub trades and material suppliers
  • Other duties may be assigned

Skill Requirements:

  • Residential estimating experience and/or administrative experience is an asset
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Capability to create and maintain housing budgets and costing options
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in new home sales is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail
