Job Description

We are a Japanese-inspired snack bar focused on yoshoku cuisine and elevated cocktails, seeking a passionate hospitality professional to join our team. We are looking for a experienced chef with either part or full time availability. We will be open 6 days a week from 5pm-12am, closed on Mondays.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years professional kitchen experience (preferably in Japanese, yoshoku, or fusion cuisine)
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, techniques, and flavor profiles
  • Ability to execute consistent, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in menu development, prep, and plating with creativity and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to train, support, and collaborate with kitchen staff
  • Passion for innovation and elevating casual Japanese-inspired dining
  • Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
  • Food Safe and Work Permit are necessities

Compensation will be based on experience level.
