The Opportunity

Cibo Trattoria/ Red Card Sports Bar + Eatery is currently seeking a reliable, passionate, experienced Chef de Partie to join our impressive BOH team. The ideal candidate will have a sincere passion for hospitality and upscale service, working directly with our Head Chef

What You'll Do

  • Prepare dishes and create recipes
  • Assist in running and managing kitchen operations
  • Assist in hiring, training and supervising cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Assist in planning menus
  • Assist in preparing schedules for kitchen staff
  • Ensure kitchen is clean, well-supplied and organized
  • Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked

· Prepare simple components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.

· Report to the Head Chef and follow instructions accordingly.

· Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.

· Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.

· Stock inventory and supplies.

· Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.

What You Have

· 4+ years of experience in the same or a similar role.

· Enthusiastic and committed to guest satisfaction.

· Honest, trustworthy and reliable.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.

· Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
