Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate towing equipment safely and efficiently.

Duties

  • Operate tow trucks to transport vehicles safely to designated locations.
  • Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls, including breakdowns, accidents, and other emergencies.
  • Assess the situation of stranded vehicles and determine the best towing method.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on towing equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of services rendered, including vehicle details and customer information.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers to coordinate timely responses to service requests.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling effective assessment of vehicle conditions.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues during towing operations.
  • Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable to enhance client interactions.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation may be beneficial for certain towing scenarios.
