If so, Gordon Food Service could be the place for youAZ Driver Position Highlights:Location: Windsor, ONShift: Day Shifts: 3 - 5 am start times, Monday to Friday (possibly Saturdays)What We Offer:Pay for performance incentive program after 3 months4 day work week with overtime opportunities (if applicable)Medical, Dental, and Prescription Drug benefits available after 30 days of employmentLocal routes --> guaranteed to be home every dayFamily culture and advancement opportunitiesSkills, Knowledge and Ability Required:Valid AZ driver's license with a clean commercial driver's abstractPhysically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluencyPrevious professional driving experience is preferredAbility to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditionsResponsibilities Include:Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationshipsManually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs (approx cases/shift)Operating straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over urban, short inter-urban and rural routesConducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of delivery routes, temperature logs, count sheets and incident reportingPerforming product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoicesFollowing health and safety and safe work proceduresDEPOT SPECIFIC JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Please note that in addition to the above job description the following criteria are applicable for all of our depot specific positions:Flexibility to cover other nearby Depots as required.  Flexibility to cover nearby depots for both deliveries, and/or night transit routes for vacation or sick coverage as neededAbility to work weekends is requiredAvailability to work a full 10-13 hour shift is required.Understanding that hours fluctuate depending on weather business needs.We're a company with integrity at its core. We believe in treating each other with respect and working as a team to get things done right.  And because of this collaboration, we've created an atmosphere that's fun, supportive, and alive with energyGordon Food Service is an equal opportunity employer.We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for the next step will be contacted.
