Overview

iAnthus is looking for an Accounts Receivable Lead in Toronto to oversee collections and drive automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and improve cash flow. This is a hands-on role that balances operational oversight with process innovation. This role will report to the Corporate Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the accounts receivable function, overseeing billing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting.Champion the use of automation tools and technology to streamline AR processes, reduce DSO, and improve collection efficiency.Manage customer relationships and oversee escalation of overdue accounts.Review and analyze AR aging reports, providing insights to senior management on collection trends and risks.Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve disputes and ensure accurate invoicing.Support month-end close, audits, and compliance requirementsRecommend and implement process improvements across AR.

Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5+ years of progressive accounts receivable/collections experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.Experience with accounting software (Sage X3, Intact) and ERP systems.Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environmentStrong problem-solving ability and experience implementing AR automation solutions.Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skillsHybrid in-office attendance with a minimum of two days per week at our Toronto office.
