Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Expo/Busser to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring smooth service flow, and supporting the dining experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and prior experience in food service or hospitality. This position offers an opportunity to develop guest relations skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
  • Assist servers by expediting food and beverages to tables as needed
  • Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
  • Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions and addressing concerns with professionalism
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness of host stand, dining areas, and surrounding spaces
  • Support the team with guest relations, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Uphold hotel or restaurant standards of hospitality and phone etiquette
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Skills

  • Previous host/host experience preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
  • Knowledge of food service operations and guest relations techniques
  • Excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
