Company Overview

Gosselin Health and Safety provides professional safety consulting, training, documentation, and compliance support to clients in construction, drilling, industrial, and high-risk work environments. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our growing Health & Safety operations and help ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and client communications
  • Schedule safety training sessions, site visits, audits, and meetings
  • Prepare, edit, and format Health & Safety documents (meeting minutes, policies, procedures, programs, reports, SDS packages, training records, COR/SECOR documentation, etc.)
  • Maintain organized digital filing systems for multiple clients
  • Assist with data entry for incident reports, inspections, and training records
  • Track certificates, qualifications, and expiry dates
  • Support consultants and field staff with administrative tasks
  • Prepare invoices, proposals, and client correspondence
  • Order office supplies and manage safety-related materials
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Assist with marketing materials and client database updates as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative or office support experience (preferably in a safety, construction, or industrial environment)
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills & Assets

  • Experience with Health & Safety documentation and programs
  • Knowledge of COR/SECOR, OH&S legislation, and industry standards
  • Familiarity with Site App Pro or similar safety management systems
  • Experience with Site app Pro, Site Docs, and 1Life software Programs
  • Social media, website, or marketing support skills
