Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that each dining experience is memorable. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards before serving.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
  • Strong guest services skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
  • Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Experience with POS systems is a plus but can be trained on the job.
  • A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to learn are key attributes for success in this role.
