**Job Type: Part - time**
**Hours : 4:00pm - 7:00pm, Every other weekend.**
**Reports to: Food Service Manager**
**Start Date: September 2025**

**What We’re Looking For**

The **Server** is responsible for creating a pleasant, respectful, and efficient dining experience for residents and their guests. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about service, detail-oriented, and values meaningful interactions with seniors..

**Key Responsibilities**
- Set up and maintain clean, organized dining and servery areas before and after meal service
- Serve meals and beverages in a timely, courteous manner, ensuring proper portion control and food safety
- Monitor resident attendance and meal preferences, and report any concerns to supervisors
- Assist with meal preparation and dessert plating when required
- Transport and maintain food at proper serving temperatures
- Maintain kitchen hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, carts, dishes, and equipment
- Support colleagues during peak times and collaborate to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols
- Uphold privacy, dignity, and respect for all residents
- Maintain accurate logs for temperatures, attendance, and cleaning tasks

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Previous experience in a hospitality, dining, or healthcare setting is preferred
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with light lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and team spirit
- A compassionate and respectful approach to working with seniors
- High attention to detail and cleanliness, able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work independently and follow written/verbal instructions

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
