Technical Sales Specialist, Dry Ice Applications (Full-Time) - Calgary or Edmonton, AB

Primary Purpose
The Technical Sales Specialist – Microbulk Applications will be responsible for leading all aspects of the microbulk applications and selling programs in Western Canada.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for leading sales calls, creating customer presentations and performing customer site survey as per Linde policies
  • Subject matter expert on Microbulk equipment, systems and applications for Western Canada
  • Generating new business growth in Microbulk applications
  • Perform market analysis and develop strategies to grow them
  • Work closely with the region metal fabrication productivity specialists and Territory Managers in a team solution approach
  • Secures long term relationship by negotiating product supply agreements
  • Perform site surveys at customers locations, adhering to Linde POIS standards
  • Improves the profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions
  • Supports and implements marketing plans, promotions and new product launches
  • Maintain list of target accounts in customer relationship management system
  • Conducts competitive intelligence
  • Demonstrates products to new account customers

Required Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred

Experience

  • Prefer 5-7 years outside sales experience
  • Technical knowledge of Microbulk applications
  • Ability to learn and uncover new applications for gases
  • Ability to present to customers and lead professional presentations to all levels of an organization
