Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC issues using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders, inventory, and documentation.
  • Conduct welding repairs and mechanical adjustments as needed.
  • Assist with electrical repairs, including wiring and component replacement.
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately.
  • Supervise maintenance tasks when necessary, providing guidance to junior team members.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and facility protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from production teams.

Skills

  • Supervising experience in a manufacturing or facilities environment.
  • Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting.
  • Welding skills for metal fabrication and repair tasks.
  • Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and component replacement.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to machinery repair and maintenance.
  • Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and manuals effectively.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise projects and mentor team members. This position is integral to maintaining operational excellence within our facility, requiring a dedicated professional with a comprehensive skill set in maintenance, troubleshooting, leadership, and customer service.

Pay: $17.75-$31.67 per hour
