Slot Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Slot Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing gaming machines to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware, mechanical systems, and electrical schematics. The Slot Technician will work closely with other technicians and staff to provide excellent service and support within the gaming environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on slot machines and gaming devices.
• Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and electrical components.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand machine layouts and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve machine performance and reliability.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of parts.
• Provide technical support for computer networking related to gaming machines.

Skills

• Proficient in computer hardware maintenance and repair.
• Strong understanding of low voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Experience using hand tools for mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of computer networking principles as they relate to gaming devices.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
