Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging freelance Presenter/Instructor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for communication and the ability to captivate an audience. As a Presenter, you will be responsible for delivering compelling presentations that inform, educate, and entertain our audience. This role requires a blend of creativity, confidence, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively convey messages and engage listeners. This role also requires a unique combination of academic rigor (PhD/DBA) and real-world industrial expertise in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Duties

  • Curriculum Development: Develop high-quality, industry-relevant curriculum, course materials, and lesson plans for online webinars and short courses on topics like corporate innovation, design thinking, and practical entrepreneurship.
  • Online Delivery: Deliver engaging and professional presentations for live, online webinars and pre-recorded video content for asynchronous online courses.
  • Develop and prepare presentation materials tailored to the audience's needs.
  • Deliver presentations in a clear, engaging manner using various multimedia tools.
  • Interact with the audience through Q&A sessions, discussions, and feedback collection.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment on presentation content and objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and topics relevant to the presentations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of presentations through audience feedback and make necessary adjustments for improvement.

Skills

  • PHD/DBA in innovation and entrepreneurship or related field an asset
  • 3-5 years industrial and instruction experience
  • Verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Strong public speaking abilities, including poise under pressure and adaptability to audience reactions.
  • Proficiency in using presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) and multimedia tools.
  • Creative thinking skills to develop engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple presentations and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
