QA Lead - Salesforce

12+ months contract

Toronto, ON (2-4 days onsite a week)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage
    the testing team across multiple projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Design and implement
    automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Develop and execute
    automated test scripts for Salesforce applications, including Lightning components, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with
    developers, business analysts, and product owners
    to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Ensure
    test coverage
    across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Utilize
    Salesforce testing tools
    (e.g., Provar, Selenium, Salesforce DX) and techniques to validate customizations and configurations.
  • Manage
    test environments
    , data setup, and test execution cycles.
  • Track and report
    defects
    , test metrics, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Drive
    continuous improvement
    in testing processes and automation practices.
  • Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in QA and automation.
  • Experience with
    API testing
    using Postman or REST-assured.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a
    lead role
    .
  • Strong experience in
    test automation
    using Selenium, Java/Python, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
  • familiarty with
    Salesforce testing
    , including knowledge of Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Familiarity with
    Salesforce automation tools
    like Provar, AutoRABIT, or similar.
