Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead end-to-end test automation and quality processes across multiple projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise in WebdriverIO with Cucumber or similar frameworks, as well as Selenium with Java, and possesses a strong ability to lead QA teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the QA strategy, planning, and execution for multiple product lines and releases.
  • Design and implement 
    end-to-end automation frameworks
     using 
    WebdriverIO + Cucumber
     ) and 
    Selenium + Java
    .
  • Define and enforce 
    automation standards, best practices, and code quality
     guidelines.
  • Collaborate with 
    developers, product managers, and DevOps
     teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration.
  • Mentor and manage a team of QA engineers — conducting code reviews, performance evaluations, and technical training.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design comprehensive 
    test strategies and test plans
    .
  • Manage QA deliverables and timelines, ensuring coverage across functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
  • Communicate effectively with 
    stakeholders and leadership
    , providing clear updates on risks, progress, and quality metrics.
  • Continuously improve QA processes through automation, tooling, and process optimization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in 
    software testing and automation
    .
  • Strong proficiency with 
    WebdriverIO, Cucumber, or other test frameworks
    .
  • Solid experience Solid experience with 
    Selenium WebDriver
    and
    programming languages
    like Java, Javascript, Python.
  • Proven track record in 
    building and maintaining automation frameworks
     for 
    end-to-end testing
    .
  • Experience with 
    CI/CD pipelines
     (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
  • Hands on experience with Cypress and Playwright is huge bonus.
  • Strong understanding of 
    Agile/Scrum methodologies
    .
  • Excellent 
    leadership, mentorship, and communication
     skills.
  • Experience collaborating with 
    cross-functional teams
     and managing 
    stakeholder expectations
    .

Good to have

  • Exposure to 
    API testing
     (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, SuperTest).
  • Knowledge of 
    performance testing
     tools (e.g., JMeter, K6).
  • Familiarity with 
    cloud-based test execution
     (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
