Car Sales Executive (Used Cars)

Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Commission (uncapped) + bonus opportunities

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Car Sales Executive to join our dealership team. In this role, you will drive vehicle sales by delivering an excellent customer experience from first contact to delivery. You will engage customers, assess needs, present suitable vehicle options, and guide them through the full purchasing process.

This role is 100% commission-based and is best suited for individuals who are self-driven, confident, and comfortable earning a salary based on their performance.

Compensation Structure (Important)

FULL COMMISSION ONLY — NO salary / NO hourly / NO guaranteed base

Uncapped earning potential based on performance

Bonus opportunities available (based on dealership policy/performance)

Qualifications

  • MUST HAVE OMVIC LICENSE (required)
  • Minimum 1 year automotive sales experience (required)
  • Strong communication (verbal + written) and customer handling skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using CRM systems + phone/email/text follow-ups
  • Proficient with social media (posting, messaging, lead generation)
  • Multilingual is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Upselling: Present and recommend value-added products/services to increase customer satisfaction and dealership revenue
  • Lead Generation: Follow up on internal leads and actively generate your own leads daily (calls, referrals, social media, repeat customers)
  • Customer Engagement: Welcome customers confidently, assess needs, and guide them through the buying process
  • Credit Applications: Assist customers with credit applications and gather required documentation efficiently
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of inventory and features/benefits to match the right vehicle to each customer
  • Financing Coordination: Work closely with the finance team to present lender options and structure deals
  • Exceptional Service: Deliver a smooth, professional experience from inquiry to delivery to drive 5-star reviews, referrals, and repeat business
