Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Control Panel Assembler to join our team. This role involves component mounting, wiring, and testing control panels in compliance with industry standards such as CSA and UL. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and independent working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and fulfill single line drawings
- Layout, wire, and assemble control panels using components such as HMI's, VFDs, relays, switches, transformers, power supplies, terminal blocks, etc.
- Mark-up as-built drawings, bills of materials, and production orders to match the produced panel.
- Participate in technical and safety training programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with industrial control panel wiring, design, or related roles an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license
- Legally work in Alberta
- Able to lift 50lbs
- A driven, enthusiastic mindset with a willingness to learn and develop diverse technical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
