Position Summary:
The
Lead Generation Specialist
is responsible for high-volume outbound prospecting to identify customer contacts and book meetings for the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic individual looking to launch or grow a career in sales. The role is fully in-office, Monday through Friday, at Systemex headquarters in Saint-Laurent. The environment is dynamic, fast-moving, and mentorship-driven, with direct daily interaction with the VP. Strong performers will have a clear path toward progressing into a Junior Inside Sales role.
This role plays a crucial part in building the front-end pipeline that drives Systemex's long-term growth.
Work Schedule:
• Full-time, permanent
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Fully on-site at Systemex, Saint-Laurent
Compensation:
• Base salary: $40,000 to $50,000
• Incentive plan tied to the number of qualified meetings booked weekly and monthly
• Strong earning potential for high performers
Key Responsibilities:
• Make 60 to 80 outbound calls per day to prospective customers across Canada and the United States.
• Engage confidently in English, the primary client language for this role.
• Use HubSpot CRM to log all calls, maintain structured outreach sequences, track activity, and manage prospect lists.
• Identify and qualify decision-makers, booking introductory meetings, presentations, and discovery calls for the VP.
• Conduct basic company and contact research to support targeted outreach, with full training provided.
• Maintain accurate and organized notes for all interactions within HubSpot.
• Collaborate daily with the VP to refine scripts, messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy.
• Support outbound sales campaigns aligned with trade shows, sector opportunities, and regional growth initiatives.
• No travel required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience using HubSpot CRM is required.
• Strong English communication skills, spoken and written.
• Highly motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident making high-volume outbound calls and initiating conversations.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and consistent in follow-through.
• Customer research experience is a bonus, but all methods will be taught.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be able to work in person at Systemex's Saint-Laurent office five days per week.
• French is an asset but not required.
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Beneficial):
• Experience using for prospect discovery.
• Experience using for contact identification.
• Experience using LinkedIn for prospecting and research.
Training and Onboarding:
Systemex provides structured onboarding that includes full training on:
• HubSpot CRM workflows
• Sales scripts and outreach techniques
• Research methods and prospect identification
• Target industries and Systemex service offerings
• Best practices for booking qualified meetings
