Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and overall supply chain management. This position involves working closely with various departments to optimize processes and improve logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Oversee order picking and packaging processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams for procurement needs and sourcing of materials.
  • Analyze data related to logistics processes for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with transportation management systems (TMS) for effective freight management.
  • Assist in demand planning to align inventory levels with customer needs.
  • Support third-party logistics (3PL) operations to enhance service delivery.
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or order fulfillment.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems, data analysis skills, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, including pricing strategies and demand planning.
  • Experience with CMMS, AS400, and e-commerce platforms is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing logistics operations.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
