**What you'll do**:
Contender Logistics is looking for a motivated individual that will help grow our operations team. Prior experience in a similar role will be expected. The Operations Department is currently divided into Domestic and Cross-Border divisions. As we grow, further divisions might include domestic, inbound, and outbound, with possible future additions of interstate and international. You'll be responsible for running the cross border division, and working with one of our operations executives. Within each division, there will be **Operations Executives** and **Team Leads**. As a Team Lead you will be responsible for pricing more complex freight, managing OEs, sourcing new carriers, docks, and warehouses, resolving carrier issues, and ensuring that the broader department's financial quotas are well-supported. You will work closely with your operations executive, the sales department, and the customer service departments day to day. We have the tools and people to set you up for success in this role. That being said, we are always open to hearing innovative ideas and creative ways to improve our operations. Your results will be generated from a combination of strong work ethic, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.

**The Company**:
Contender Logistics is a Freight Brokerage that operates throughout North America. As a brokerage, Contender does not handle the physical goods, we simply negotiate the best possible price on behalf of our clients, take a fee for doing so, and ensure that the shipment runs smoothly from A to B. Contender Logistics was founded in February 2019. We are a younger team that come from a variety of different industries/backgrounds, this makes for a corporate culture similar to one of a tech start up. We have shown fast growth in the logistics space with the intentions of continuing to grow at the same pace. **Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
