(Mon-Fri and rotating Sundays 5 days a week would have friday off if working sunday) 8:30am-5pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Compliance Coordinator to manage shipment instructions, oversee warehouse operations related to incoming and outgoing freight, and ensure the accurate execution of logistics processes. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between freight forwarders, the warehouse team, and management, ensuring shipments are handled correctly, damage reports are documented, and internal systems are updated in a timely manner. This role requires frequent movement between the warehouse and office to monitor shipments and respond to emails efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with freight forwarders to provide and confirm shipment instructions.
• Ensure the warehouse team properly sorts and processes shipments according to provided instructions.
• Frequently move between the warehouse and office to monitor shipments, verify handling accuracy, and manage communications.
• Perform quality control checks when shipments are offloaded from containers, verifying accuracy and proper handling.
• Document and report any damages to freight forwarders, including photographic evidence and written reports.
• Maintain constant communication with the warehouse team and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and update the internal system with shipment details, including tracking information and location of goods.
• Respond promptly to emails and inquiries related to shipments and logistics operations.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues in shipment execution.
• Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency in shipment handling and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouse staff, and management.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify errors or damages in shipments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn internal systems.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with frequent movement between the warehouse and office.
• Problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge or experience in the Freight Forwarding / Transportation / Logistics industry.

· Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute. Applicants may need to perform a words per minute test

• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluent English a must.
• Extremely high attention to detail.
• Ability to excel in a time sensitive, deadline driven environment

· Able to work in a fast paced environment.
