The Opportunity
We are inviting applications from highly motivated individuals for the role of Communications and Engagement Advisor. Reporting to the Director of Stakeholder Relations, you will support the evolution of Provident10's brand and stakeholder engagement strategies by designing and delivering strategic, comprehensive, integrated communication plans and tactics that enhance transparency and engagement with members and stakeholders.
Your key activities will include:
- Assisting with the strategic development of the organization's communication plans and digital strategy.
- Writing, designing, and editing timely, engaging, and informative content for members and stakeholders to support organizational initiatives.
- Building and maintaining communication networks with senior management to ensure a coordinated approach to integrating communication strategies with organizational priorities.
- Liaising with colleagues to ensure messaging to stakeholders is consistent with Provident10's overall brand and strategic objectives.
- Developing and reporting on key performance indicators for communications and audience engagement activities through standard dashboards.
- Monitoring and maintaining Provident10's digital communication channels, including the website, webinars, email marketing platforms and social media applications.
- Fostering relationships with stakeholders, and partners through meetings, events, and direct communication.
- Supporting crisis communication plans and drafting timely and effective communications.
- Staying current on industry trends and best practices in communication.
What you'll bring to the role
- Successful completion of a degree or diploma in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field supplemented by a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Equivalencies will be considered.
- Proven knowledge of theories, principles and practices of communications planning and expertise in the development and evaluation of strategic communications plans, and engagement initiatives.
- Experience in managing and measuring campaigns on Google Analytics 4, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, Facebook, Twitter, and other digital channels.
- Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design principles
- Ability to take technical and complex information and distill it to key messages that make sense for the audience.
- A great sense of initiative and rigorous attention for detail as well as the ability to work independently and in a team.
Salary Range: $79,100 - $110,600
