We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining exceptional standards of food safety and hospitality. Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
  • Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
  • Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage practices
  • Support the training and development of team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to implement menu changes and improve service quality
  • Serve as a leader during shifts, stepping in for the Head Chef when necessary

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or food service setting
  • Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
  • Excellent team management and leadership abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant management operations and hospitality standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on serving guests professionally
  • Demonstrated experience in kitchen experience, restaurant experience, or related roles within the hospitality sector
