Cutover Coordinator

Montreal of Brossard – 50% of the time "on site"

6+ months contract job.

Bilingual: English/ French

The term "cutover" refers to a transition, particularly in the context of an IT project, where a system is switched from one to another. This phase involves careful planning and the coordinated execution of numerous tasks to minimize service interruptions.

It is the process of migrating from a legacy system, process, or software version to a new one.

Profile ideas:

1. Technical resources ready to move into project management/cutover

2. Project manager

3. PCO

Main Duties:

  • Support the Senior Cutover Coordinator during cutover review meetings (plan follow-ups, take to-do notes).
  • Assist in monitoring activities with the technical and business teams.
  • Initiate and track cutover activities (update duration, status, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain tracking tools (e.g., dashboards, activity triggers, Smartsheet, Google App Script).
  • Participate in the creation and updating of cutover plans.

Required:

  • Experience in companies with over 10,000 employees
  • Experience as a junior project coordinator (0-2 years)
  • Proficiency with Google Sheet (Excel), Google Script, MS Project, and Smartsheet.


• Knowledge of IT or ERP projects.
