About the role
Hunter Scouts is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Lead to run an end-to-end tenant-to-tenant migration for a major banking client (confidential). You will lead migrations across OneDrive, Teams, Intune/Autopilot, deliver device refresh outcomes, and manage end-user transition activities. This is a hands-on delivery role with strong cutover governance, risk and issue control, and cross-vendor coordination in a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead tenant-to-tenant migration execution for Microsoft 365 workloads including OneDrive, Teams, and related services
  • Own migration planning, runbook creation and cutover execution with rigorous issue and risk tracking
  • Coordinate cross-vendor and cross-functional teams to deliver EUC and device refresh outcomes
  • Oversee technical delivery for telephony, mobility and VPN connectivity in end-user environments
  • Manage unstructured data migrations from shared drives/folders to target platforms
  • Ensure device management standards and Autopilot deployment strategies are executed at scale
  • Drive end-user transition, communications and readiness for migration waves

Requirements

  • Must be based within a 50-mile (80 km) radius of Montreal, QC and legally authorized to work in Canada
  • 5+ years' experience in End User Compute (EUC) and IT Operations leadership within banking or financial services
  • 3+ years' experience leading Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, including OneDrive and Teams workloads
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot and delivering device refresh at scale
  • Proven experience planning and executing migration cutovers using detailed runbooks, and tracking issues/risks to closure
  • Experience coordinating delivery across multiple vendors and delivering telephony/mobility/VPN and unstructured data migrations

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Teams telephony/voice migrations (Direct Routing, Operator Connect)
  • Experience with pre-migration data discovery, classification and remediation for shared drives
  • Experience leading device refresh programs in regulated environments
  • Experience with large-scale end-user transition and communications during migration waves
  • Experience working in Big 4 or similar consulting delivery frameworks
