Job Overview

The Office Assistant / Customer Service Associate provides administrative support and exceptional customer service to ensure smooth daily operations. This role involves handling office tasks, assisting staff and clients, and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Process customer transactions, payments, and orders as needed.
  • Coordinate all order processing steps including: pricing, order entry, customer confirmation, delivery, invoicing, returns, credits.
  • Communicate daily with sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse & accounting.
  • Support team members and management in daily operational tasks and projects.
  • Identify, respond, resolve & facilitate customer requests & problems.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain and organize office files, records, and documents (both digital and paper).
  • Utilize computer skills to perform data entry, update customer records, and process transactions using software Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plain).
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while ensuring all customer interactions meet quality standards.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating professionalism and organizational skills in all tasks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience in office/industrial environment.
  • Good numeric comprehension.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.
  • Must work well with others in a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills.
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word & internet.
  • A successful candidate will adapt easily to a wide variety of ever-changing products and unique customer requirements.
  • Pleasant & polite manner with positive attitude.
  • Microsoft Dynamics knowledge is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $52,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
