About Us

We are a small, independent music label building a diverse and growing roster. Our projects include:

  • A well-known folk artist from Congo blending African traditional music and contemporary folk.
  • A bilingual Chilean-rap / English-French folk fusion project.
  • A folk duo with violin.
  • A few emerging singer-songwriter projects, including the label's main artist.

We're building something intimate, creative, and international from the ground up — starting in Montreal and Quebec, and expanding toward the U.S. and Europe.

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Booking Agent to help secure live opportunities for our artists. The ideal person has existing contacts in Montreal/Quebec's music scene, understands multiple genres, and enjoys helping emerging projects grow into full touring acts.

Responsibilities

  • Pitch and secure shows for multiple projects (venues, festivals, showcases, cultural events).
  • Develop local and regional tour strategies with room to expand internationally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with promoters, venues, and festival programmers.
  • Negotiate performance fees, contracts, and logistical details.
  • Coordinate show info with artists and management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in booking, talent buying, promoting, or similar roles.
  • Strong network in Montreal/Quebec's live music scene.
  • Ability to work with diverse genres (folk, world, hip-hop, fusion, singer-songwriter).
  • Good communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-directed, reliable, and excited about supporting new talent.

Nice to Have

  • Connections in the U.S. or European touring markets.
  • Bilingualism (FR/EN).
  • Interest in multicultural and genre-blended music.
