About the Position

We are hiring a Restaurant Manager for Mother Tongue Asian Bistro & Cocktail Bar in Blue Mountain Village. This is an active, guest-facing leadership role focused on overseeing front-of-house operations, guiding your team, and ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional and seamless dining experience.

You'll collaborate closely with both the culinary and beverage programs, lead by example during service, and maintain the high standards that have shaped Mother Tongue's reputation for quality.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Outstanding Service: Oversee day-to-day operations while maintaining a guest-first mindset.
  • Lead and Develop Your Team: Recruit, train, and support front-of-house staff in delivering warm, professional hospitality.
  • Create Memorable Experiences: Ensure guests leave satisfied and eager to return.
  • Work Cross-Functionally: Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar leaders to maintain consistency and flow.
  • Uphold Standards: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and cleanliness procedures.
  • Drive Results: Utilize engagement, thoughtful upselling, and operational awareness to support sales and service goals.
  • Cultivate a Strong Culture: Encourage a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team atmosphere.

What You Bring

  • Previous management experience in a full-service or upscale dining environment
  • Genuine passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • A calm, positive, and professional demeanor in busy service periods
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
