LeverageTek is actively seeking an Enterprise Architect for an 8-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and implement enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and standards to ensure alignment between IT strategy and business objectives.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise applications and technology solutions, including working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to meet strategic business needs.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for technology initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with business and operational leaders to understand requirements, define solution architecture, and ensure technology supports business goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and technology landscapes through innovative architecture and solution design.
  • Create, maintain, and communicate architecture documentation, roadmaps, and governance models to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support IT governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives through architecture oversight and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide IT teams in architecture standards, methodologies, and best practices.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in an Enterprise Architect or similar role supporting corporate enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience in IT solution and supplier selection for enterprise applications and technology solutions supporting business and operational strategic needs.
  • Proven expertise in implementing enterprise architecture frameworks and processes to support business and operational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud architecture, digital transformation initiatives, or large-scale ERP/CRM implementations.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, or other recognized enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technology projects in complex corporate environments.
