About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the future-state technology architecture and guide complex enterprise solutions. This role is onsite in Toronto and requires someone who can collaborate across business and technical teams, influence technology investment decisions, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Develop solution architectures (conceptual, logical, physical) in collaboration with SMEs and EA peers to enable new capabilities and operating models
  • Define high-level migration plans that bridge current and future state architecture, aligned with IT budgeting and planning cycles
  • Build production-ready reference implementations that agile teams can leverage
  • Lead architectural input into projects, guiding design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions
  • Assess technology trends and investments to ensure alignment with business outcomes
  • Identify cultural and financial impacts of technology changes across skills, processes, and structures
  • Partner with stakeholders to oversee the selection, design, and governance of enterprise platforms and standards

Must Haves

  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, with a focus on Solution Architecture and Information System Design
  • Hands-on experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed solutions in hybrid, multi-cloud environments
  • Strong background with integration platforms (Mulesoft, Confluent Kafka) and enterprise retail & wholesale platforms (SAP, Blue Yonder, GK, Adobe, Opterus, Pega)
  • Deep knowledge of retail & wholesale systems (Merchandising Management, Sales Audit, Core Financials, Promotions Management, CRM)
  • Proven experience defining migration strategies, reference implementations, and technology investment recommendations
  • Skilled in evaluating emerging technologies and aligning adoption with enterprise strategy

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, or ITSM processes
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders
