We partner with OEMs, distributors, and service shops across Canada and the United States, delivering ISO-certified, OEM-grade cylinders designed for reliability in the most demanding equipment environments.

As our company continues to expand across North America, we are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Representative with a strong background in hydraulic or mechanical equipment sales to lead business growth across the continent.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, distributors, and industrial customers in both Canada and the U.S.
  • Promote and sell NorthStar's complete range of hydraulic cylinder solutions — including tie-rod, welded, telescopic, dump hoist, and snow-plow cylinders.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within assigned regions or industry segments.
  • Provide technical consultation to help clients match cylinder specifications to their applications.
  • Manage key accounts, oversee sales pipelines, and maintain accurate forecasts and CRM records.
  • Collaborate with management and engineering teams to develop regional growth strategies and support large OEM projects.
  • Represent NorthStar Hydraulics at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events throughout North America.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, pricing competitiveness, and product improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B industrial, mechanical, or hydraulic product sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-border or multi-regional sales (Canada + U.S.) preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, cylinders, and related components.
  • Proven record of prospecting, negotiating, and closing high-value accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and valid passport for U.S. travel.
