**Position Overview**:
This is a full-time role supporting our sales department, reporting to Adrian D'Atri, Chief Technology Officer. This role will require you to work 9-5 pm EST from the office located at 85 Executive Ct., Scarborough, ON.

The mission of the Sales Development Representative is to stay 10 steps ahead of storage facilities and clear a path for them to use our software to auction off abandoned storage lockers. You will help pave a way for them to seamlessly participate in the fun and the excitement that comes with virtual bidding wars. The Sales Development Representative will be a key asset to the sales team at an exceptionally high level allowing them to target and market their ideal customers so we can reach our revenue and profitability goals.

Though the tasks in this position can be repetitive, duties may change week to week depending on the needs of the company.

The most important responsibility of the Sales Development Representative is to grow our customer base of storage companies that will use our web platform to auction off their abandoned storage lockers.

**Responsibilities**

The Sales Development Representative will have the primary responsibilities of
- Identifying and securing potential clients by cold-calling, online presentations and trade show exhibits.
- Develop best practices for online sales and customer services.
- Develop and maintain documentation of sales records, sales meetings, sales calls, new sales, closed sales, follow-up activities, etc.
- Presenting a written plan for onboarding self-storage operators and management companies to the executive team.
- Developing written weekly sales goals based on the monthly goal.
- Developing a script and sales training program based on our sales presentation.
- Assisting in the recruitment of sales representatives for your team.
- Build, train, coach, and hold accountable the sales team with scripts, goals, and KPIs.
- Attend all self-storage conventions and trade shows. At the conventions, you will host as many roundtable and seminar presentations as possible and develop a written presentation for these. You will submit a plan before the first presentation, and a review after each presentation.

**Education/Experience Requirement**:
The successful Sales Development representative will have the following education or combined experience with
- 5 years’ business-to-business sales OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major.
- A valid passport is required to attend trade shows in the United States.
- Confidence to do group presentations/ public speaking.
- Experience in C Suite Presentation is an asset.
- Immaculate written and spoken English.
- The drive to achieve is a must.
