Job Title: Early Childhood Educator / Nanny

Location: Private Home in Saskatoon

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Compensation: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a caring, reliable, and engaging Early Childhood Educator/Nanny to join our family in a private home setting. This role primarily focuses on caring for our 2.5-year-old twins, with additional assistance supporting a newborn. The ideal candidate is passionate about child development, enjoys teaching through play, and brings a fun, nurturing energy to their work.In addition to childcare, this position includes household support such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and organization related to the children and family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, loving care for 2.5-year-old twins and assist with newborn care
  • Plan and engage children in age-appropriate, educational play and activities
  • Support early learning, skill development, and social/emotional growth
  • Prepare meals and snacks for the children (and family as needed)
  • Children's laundry, family laundry, and housekeeping
  • Wash dishes and maintain a tidy kitchen
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
  • Assist with family outings and activities
  • Potential opportunity to travel with the family on vacations or special trips

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Educator (ECE) qualification strongly preferred
  • Previous experience as a nanny or in childcare
  • CPR and First Aid certification (required)
  • Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (required; reimbursement provided if hired)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation considered an asset
  • Trustworthy, responsible, and dependable
  • Fun, patient, and engaging personality with a genuine love for children
  • Must be located in Saskatoon, Sk.

  • This position is open only to candidates who are legally entitled to work in Canada
