SummaryPosition: Crew Scheduling Coordinator – Dome Productions
Location: 130 Merton Street, Toronto, ON M4S 1A4
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 37.50 hours per week. Overtime as required
The Crew Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and scheduling freelance crew positions for events in a timely and cost-effective manner. They may also be involved in long term master planning of events. This position delivers a constantly high level of efficient and timely client service, communication and responsiveness to all internal and external clients/partners.
Key Responsibilities- In a timely manner, prepare and distribute monthly schedules for all crew
- Respond to changes and revise schedules accordingly, for distribution
- Liaise with production managers and Technical Producers to ensure crewing of events is carried out as far in advance as possible
- Liaise with travel coordinators to ensure all travel is booked in a timely and efficient manner and to take advantage of available savings
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with freelancers and internal staff
- Effectively communicate with crew for all event related bookings, conflicts and planning
- Escalate issues when problems/issues arrive for resolution to the satisfaction of all key stakeholders
- A comprehensive understanding of client's properties and technical requirements
- Ability to perform administrative tasks as needed
- Facilitate hiring operators through operations manager
- Ability to understand overall workflow and work independently, as well as within a team
- Due to the 24 / 7 / 365 nature of our business, must be willing to address emergencies as they arise occasionally during off hours and on weekends
- Follow and enforce Dome Productions current work and travel policies, as they relate to freelancers
- Minimum of 2 years scheduling experience
- A college diploma or university degree in television broadcast would be an asset
- Working experience in television and/or mobile production management would be an asset
- Must be a team player
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good organizational and administration skills
- Ability to work under pressure, to prioritize and be creative with solutions
- Ability to work through decisions, solve problems and react independently
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and collected in stressful, time sensitive situations
- Must be flexible in working hours
- After hours cell phone will be provided
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.

Total earning range: $50,400 - $69,300. The advertised salary range may vary slightly as it is based on the company's current salary structure, which may be revised by the company, from time to time, at its sole discretion. The agreed upon salary may also vary from the advertised salary ranges depending on several factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, experience and internal equity
The salary range above includes an Annual Incentive Plan objective which represent 4% of your Base Salary based on the achievement of individual and corporate objectives; The Annual Achievement Incentive Plan ("AIP") payment is calculated based on a formula that takes into account several factors, including, without limitation, corporate and individual performance measures. The AIP payment is conditional upon meeting all of the AIP's eligibility requirements. The AIP is subject to modification by the Company from time to time, at its sole discretion to better reflect evolving business structure, goals and strategies.
For work arrangements that are 'Hybrid', successful candidates must be based in Canada and report to a set Bell office for a minimum of 3 days a week. Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, Bell offers flexibility in work hours based on the business needs.
