We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You must me Fluent is Chinese and English. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to meal preparation and food service excellence and also will cover the front sometimes.   • The applicant must be located in Brantford and will be willing to work long term
  • Applicant needs to be dedicated and respectful to work schedule as its a restaurant and taking sudden leave will not be possible.
  • Applicant needs to be hard-working because its fast paced and applicant needs to have the mindset to be a good team player

Duties

  • Assist in meal preparation and food handling, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Greet customers at the front and take orders in store and over the phone
  • Support cooks in the kitchen by preparing ingredients and maintaining an organized workspace.
  • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in Chinese and English
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
