Workplace Arrangements:

This role is being offered as a 6 month contract.

This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 1- 2 days / month for an 8-5 schedule.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Maintain promotional events in Confirmed Ad Listing System (CALS) and Grocery Event Planner (GEP).
  • Creating and maintaining multiple promotional event types such as flyer, or in store features.
  • Updating flyer blocking according to placement on finalized block plan.
  • Create & maintain grocery block plans
  • Complete buying team change requests
  • Create and maintain return sheets
  • Test GEP bug fixes and enhancements

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum two (2) years of retail experience
  • Postsecondary education in a related field such as Marketing or Business Administration
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, be analytical and self-motivated
  • Strong logic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to, and learn, new systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)

Assets You May Have:

  • Working knowledge of AS400 system
  • Working knowledge of MicroStrategy BI
