Job Overview - Site Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor with a strong electrical trade background and proven experience managing electrical and construction projects, ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC and the BC Electrical Code. You'll lead field teams, coordinate operations, and keep every project running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Compensation: Based on experience and skill level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all on-site electrical installation, maintenance, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC, the BC Electrical Code, and relevant CSA standards.
  • Review project drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution, quality workmanship, and adherence to design intent across all phases of the project.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and manpower allocation, maintaining efficiency, minimizing delays, and achieving company and client objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, identifying issues early and implementing corrective measures to uphold safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, trades, and suppliers, coordinating material pickups, deliveries, and resource distribution across multiple project sites for smooth workflow.
  • Lead, mentor, and support field crews and apprentices, providing technical guidance on proper installation methods, safety practices, and code compliance.
  • Document and report project progress using digital tools such as ProCore or SharePoint, maintaining clear communication with management, clients, and on-site teams to ensure accountability and alignment.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 + years of proven experience supervising electrical and construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC compliance requirements and the BC Electrical Code.
  • Electrical trade background (apprenticeship or related experience strongly preferred).
  • Must hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and have a reliable vehicle.
