Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to understand their hair styling preferences and recommend suitable styles
  • Perform various hair services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and treatments
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
  • Upsell retail products that complement client services to enhance their experience
  • Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
  • Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively and communicating effectively
  • Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
  • Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a professional salon environment
  • Strong skills in hair styling, coloring, cutting, and finishing techniques
  • Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon setting
  • Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a client-focused approach
  • Experience handling front desk responsibilities such as scheduling and retail sales is preferred
  • A passion for beauty, fashion, and helping clients look their best is essential
