Henry Drilling is one of the largest drilling companies in Western Canada and has the most modern drilling fleet in British Columbia. We have more than 30 years experience in the drilling business, and our specialty is tackling jobs that few other companies can do.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate drill and ensure all manufacturers recommendations and procedures are being followed.
  • Identify any potential issues or equipment/ supply problems that may arise.
  • Conduct daily inspection of the drill and attached lifting devices, and correct or report all defects.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance is being done in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the best tools are being used for the work being done.
  • Complete machine and foreman reports.
  • Coordinate ready mix, including notice.
  • Clean equipment as scheduled and/or required.
  • Train crews and introduce procedures to make drill work more safe and effective.
  • Maintain records of meters drilled, location and nature of strata penetrated, materials and tools used, services rendered, and time required.
  • Maintain and adjust machinery in order to ensure proper performance.
  • Monitor progress of drilling operations, and select and change drill bits according to the nature of strata, using hand tools.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Five years' experience in the industry.
  • Two years' experience as a Driller/Drill Operator.
