Bath Emporium is a full service luxury bathroom, kitchen, and appliance showroom in Markham that offers its clients an extensive product range and design services.

Summary

This position supports our sales and warehouse departments by managing customer orders, coordinating shipments and ensuring excellent communication with customers and vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, professional and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy retail environment. The position is Monday to Friday - 9am to 6pm (no weekends).

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and communicate with vendors regarding product availability and shipping updates
  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Manage incoming service requests via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and plan efficient routes for our delivery truck
  • Update the POS/inventory system with packing slips and incoming shipments
  • Conduct data entry tasks related to customer information and service requests
  • Notify customers when their orders are ready for pickup and provide ETA updates
  • Handle freight shipments and assist with freight claims for damaged or missing goods
  • Submit warranty claims and order parts (training provided)
  • Enforce company policies such as restocking fees and return terms
  • Collaborate with warehouse and sales staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in customer service, order desk, or administrative support (experience in a bath and kitchen environment is a plus)
  • Proven experience in a customer service or coordination role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - professional, clear and courteous
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • Proficient in data entry with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proper phone etiquette with confidence to uphold company policies
  • Knowledge of shipping processes or freight claims is an asset
  • Reliable and punctual - this is an in-person position and one is required to be in for 9:00am.
  • Business-casual attire required (no jeans)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week

Work Location: In person
