Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations at our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel management. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing budgets, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse guests. The Hotel Manager will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth functioning of all hotel departments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food service, and guest relations
- Supervise and train staff to ensure high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Manage guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Develop and implement policies to improve service quality and operational procedures
- Coordinate with human resources for staffing, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations
- Maintain effective phone etiquette and communication with guests and staff
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest services to foster repeat business
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote hotel services and amenities
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles
- Supervising experience with a track record of team development and leadership excellence
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs diplomatically
- Knowledge of hotel operations including front desk management, guest services, and human resources practices
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and implement cost-saving strategies
- Excellent communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse clientele
- Familiarity with hospitality software systems and phone etiquette standards
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable; a background in hospitality is essential
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,707.13-$61,513.73 per year
